Fete and family fun day
Our Fete and family fun day will be held on 23rd November 2024 under the theme “Rebuilding our Community through Him, who gives us Strength”.
Tickets for the fete are now on sale at P5/child under the age of 16 and P15 for adults.
During the fete, there will be Cathedral has got Talent (CGT) competition. Parishioners who have talents to showcase should contact Anslem Nenguke after 7:30 mass or Kennedy Mokgethi after the 10;00 mass. Alternatively they can be reach on their phones. Eucharistic Exhibition 2024
The exhibition will start at 1700 with prayer and talks in the Cathedral Church, thereafter proceed with the exhibition in the Cathedral Hall. Look in the announcements section for the related video.

Pentecost Novena
The Pentecost Novena, also known as the Novena to the Holy Spirit, is the first novena ever prayed by Jesus’ disciples and the Blessed Virgin Mary after Jesus ascended into heaven. This prayer is said during the nine days that fall between the feast of the Ascension and the feast of Pentecost.
Prayers will be held each day at 5:30pm at CKC
Ascension Day mass
Ascension Day is the 40th day of Easter. It occurs 39 days after Easter Sunday. It is a day that commemorates Jesus Christ's ascension into heaven. Ascension Day marks the 40th day after Jesus Christ's resurrection.
Easter Monday
There will be only one mass on this day combined in English and Setswana at 8am.
Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday, also known as Resurrection Sunday, is a significant Christian holiday that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It is considered the most important holiday for Christians worldwide.
There will be 2 masses celebrated as follows:
English mass at 07:30am
Setswana mass at 10am
Easter Vigil
The Easter Vigil, also known as the Paschal Vigil or the Great Vigil of Easter, is a liturgy held as the first official celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. It is a significant and solemn event.
Parishioners are requested to be seated by 6:30pm
Passion Service
The commemoration of Jesus Christ’s suffering and crucifixion. The Solemn Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord includes three parts:
Liturgy of the Word: Reading the Passion according to one of the Synoptic Gospels.
Adoration of the Cross: Veneration of the Cross, symbolizing Jesus’ sacrifice.
Holy Communion: Distribution of consecrated Hosts.
Good Friday is the only day of the year when Holy Mass is not celebrated.
Parishioners are requested to be seated and silent at 2:30pm
Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross, also known as the Way of the Cross or the Via Crucis, depict Jesus Christ’s journey on the day of His crucifixion. These stations typically consist of a series of images or representations, accompanied by prayers.
These will be led alternating in English and Setswana in a procession in the area surrounding the church.
Mass of the last supper
The Mass of the Lord’s Supper is a Holy Week service celebrated on the evening of Maundy Thursday. It marks the beginning of the Easter Triduum and commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples more explicitly than other celebrations of the Mass.
Mass will be celebrated in English and Setswana. Parishioners are requested to be seated by 5:30pm.
Palm Sunday
Sunday mass that commemorates Jesus Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem as described in each of the four canonical Gospels.
There will be 2 masses on the day
Mass in English at 07:30am
Mass in Setswana at 10am

Chrism Mass
A Diocesan event where all priests renew their vows. During this solemn ceremony, the holy oils used for sacraments and rituals are blessed or consecrated. Mass starts promptly at 9am. Please be seated by 08:30am
Penitential Service
The theme is, "purify me with a hyssop, and I will be clean, wash me, and I will be whiter than snow" (Psalm 51:7). It shall be a day, from after Morning Mass to until the evening Lenten talk wherein everyone who wishes to confess can come to the Parish to confess. The priest will be in Church the whole day for this noble religious exercise.
